JLPT N5 - Japanese Number Systems
Japanese Number Systems
In a previous lesson (lesson for Kanji Introduction), we have already introduced 1st 10 numbers and the related kanji. In this lesson actually I came across this video and thought to share with you all. For the Bangladeshi language learners (beginners) it will be a listening opportunity as well from a native Japanese speaker. As considering it is a revision lesson, I am writing here the numbers again here for your easy reference:
いち | One | に | Two | さん | Three | し | Four | ご | Five | ろく | Six | しち | Seven | はち | Eight | く | Nine | じゅう | Ten | ゼロ | zero |
Please note that, in Japanese れい = 0. But now mostly ゼロ is more common in practice. As it is a loan word from foreign language, it is written in Katakana.
